As a third generation Sacramentan I grew up here, attended public elementary and junior high schools and graduated from Jesuit High School. I spent my youth riding bikes, playing and running along the American River Parkway and enjoyed skiing in the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains. I also participated in activities and with organizations centered around school and church. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in political science. I serve as President of the East Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman of the American River Parkway Advisory Committee and as Vice Chairman of the 65th Street Redevelopment Advisory Committee. My current hobbies include spending time with family and friends, running, traveling, and volunteering with various youth oriented service organizations – notably the Rotary Club of Point West and as a past president of the Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento. I am proud to live and work in the community where I was raised.
