Saddle Up for the 2024 Cowpoke Fall Gathering!
Get ready for a weekend of nostalgia, poetry, and cowboy spirit at the Cowpoke Fall Gathering, happening November 2024 at the charming Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis! What started as a small local event in 1995, thanks to Bert and Carol Braun’s vision of bringing cowboy poetry to town, has grown into an annual celebration of Western culture that draws hundreds of attendees each year.
At the heart of this event is cowboy poetry—stories of ranch life, humor, heartache, and the rugged beauty of the Western frontier. From humble beginnings in a venue with just 75 seats, the Gathering has grown into a three-show event, with each performance selling out to enthusiastic fans. Today, the Blue Goose is the perfect backdrop for this beloved tradition, where the spirit of the Old West comes alive through spoken word, song, and community.
The 2024 lineup promises to be just as unforgettable. With seasoned cowboy poets like Bill Brewster, who has lived the cowboy life and brings it to the stage with authenticity and charm, and the toe-tapping sounds of The Heifer Belles (performing on Friday night only!), you’re in for a treat. The Heifer Belles will fill the room with their unique blend of back porch Americana, ranging from humorous to heartfelt tunes.
Whether you’ve been a fan for years or this is your first time, the Cowpoke Fall Gathering offers a unique experience steeped in tradition, storytelling, and good old-fashioned Western fun. We can’t wait to see you there!
