From its humble beginnings in Old Sacramento in 1994, inspired by Dr. James Peck’s vision, the festival has grown into a colossal celebration of brewing artistry. Over the years, it has moved through various locations, each adding its unique flavor to the festival’s rich history. Now settled in Discovery Park, the festival continues to evolve, yet it retains the essence of its original purpose: to unite beer enthusiasts while supporting local charities.
What to Expect This Year
• General Admission (1-4pm): Dive into the world of craft beer with over 70 breweries, each offering unique flavors and stories behind their brews.
• VIP Experience (12-4pm): Get an early start and enjoy exclusive access to special tastings and meet-the-brewer sessions.
• The Beer Relay (1:30pm): A fun, competitive event where teams race to drink beer in relay fashion, showcasing the lighter side of the festival’s spirit.
