On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation invites residents of Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, and Placer counties to participate in the Big Day of Giving — a 24-hour online fundraiser that has become a cornerstone of local generosity.
What is Big Day of Giving (BDOG)?
Launched in 2013, Big Day of Giving (BDOG) is more than a fundraiser — it’s a movement. In just over a decade, the campaign has inspired over 60,000 donors to contribute $104 million to nonprofits doing vital work across the capital region.
